It is the perfect time to introduce a friend to fishing. It is National Fishing Week, and Canadians coast to coast are allowed to go fishing without a license. It runs from now until July 12th. Check out regulations on area lakes before heading out. Any other time, Canadians between 18 and 64 must buy a valid fishing license to legally fish in Ontario.
