An emergency situation up at Jack Garland Airport has turned out to be nothing. Police and fire were called to the scene at 7 PM last night. They haven’t said why, but within 45 minutes they were cleared from the airport. According to the Nugget, an airplane that needed emergency response was initially said to be landing in North Bay, but never ended up heading this way. Police have not released any other details.
