Sunday is Franco-Ontarian Day but local residents are marking the occasion on Friday, Sept. 23.
Les Compagnons des francs loisirs is raising the Franco-Ontarian flag in three area communities.
The event is about celebrating the history, culture and values of the French-speaking community.
Flags will be raised in:
North Bay – Leger Square at city hall at 10:15 am
West Nipissing- Goulard Park at 1 pm
