Plenty of feedback was received from the public when it comes to the legacy of the former mill site in Sturgeon Falls.
The Municipality has posted a graphic on their website detailing the various responses given during a July 27 workshop.
They range from affordable housing to mixed uses including parks and dog parks, retail and commercial spaces, pubs or distilleries, trails and more.
A Land Use and Development Strategy for the former mill site is being prepared by the municipality.
It will include a master concept plan for the redevelopment of the site and a development strategy to attract potential partners and investors.
The town says with its prime location on Highway 17, at the Sturgeon River, the redevelopment of the former mill site is a major economic development priority for the municipality.
