By bringing your empties back to the Beer Store you’ll be supporting a couple of area hospitals.
In West Nipissing, the Beer Store says their Community Donation Drive supports the West Nipissing General Hospital.
In North Bay and Powassan, donations of empty bottles and cash can be made from now until August 28 with proceeds supporting the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation and the purchase of advanced medical equipment.
Officials say last year’s province-wide campaign resulted in $260,000 being raised, with over 100 hospitals and food banks supported.
