West Nipissing is planning to celebrate Canada’s 148th birthday in a big way. There’s several festivities planned for the community, including fireworks at the Sturgeon Falls Public Beach, beginning at 9:30. Mayor Joanne Savage says there will also be activities for family’s to enjoy during the day, at the Sturgeon River House Museum including a classic car show and live local music.
