It’s been years but there will finally be a ninth voice at the West Nipissing council table.
After a vote, and an eventual tie-breaker during Wednesday’s special council meeting, Norm Roberge was selected.
Roberge, who currently sits on the municipality’s planning board, and was the long-time voice of Verner at the table, will sit until the fall when the election process begins.
He was officially appointed at yesterday’s meeting.
