Twenty-seven people have lost their lives in car crashes during the first three weeks of June. Four of those who died were driving in the northeast region. So far this year, 18 people have died in crashes in the northeast.
Police are asking drivers to take slow the rules of the road more seriously. Slow down, pay attention to the road, get off your cell phone and make sure all passengers are wearing their seatbelts.
