Up to 10 per cent of preschool children have undetected vision problems. The Eye See Eye learn program is hoping to fix that.
The non-profit program is coming to North Bay on July 1st, and provides kids in junior kindergarten with an OHIP-insured eye exam and a free pair of glasses. Local Optometrist Kristen Kincaid says vision is integral to early learning. She says that more than 95-thousand children across the province are currently eligible for the program.
