The West Nipissing Power Generation Plant will shine blue and yellow in solidarity with Ukraine and its people.
The municipality issued a press release on Feb. 28, saying it is joining communities from all around the world in showing its support for the country.
As a symbol of the community’s support, Joanne Savage, Mayor, is encouraging everyone to decorate their homes and businesses in blue and yellow on March 4.
She says the community’s thoughts are with Ukraine and its people, and the loved ones who are affected.
