We now know that it was a Sudbury man who died this week on Highway 64 when his vehicle caught fire after crashing into a tree.  The victim is identified as 30-year-old Thomas Fremlin.  Fremlin was being followed by a West Nipissing police cruiser when the officer lost the vehicle.  Shortly after that, police got a call about a vehicle on fire after hitting a tree on Highway 64.  The vehicle, a Jeep Cherokee, was the same one that the officer was following earlier.  The Special Investigations Unit is looking into the case to determine if police involvement led to Fremlin`s death.
