Here’s a reminder on why people need to be careful what they post on Facebook as an Espanola teenager found out. The 17-year-old told a girl on Facebook that he was going to murder her boyfriend. Espanola police were given the Facebook transcripts and charged the teen with uttering threats. Police say threatening is still a criminal offense regardless of whether you use social media, text the threat or do it in person.
