North Bay Police have charged an Elliot Lake man with assault with a weapon. It’s alleged that an argument between a man and a woman at a West Ferris party turned violent when he struck her with a bottle back in August 2014. When two men stepped in to help the woman, the accused allegedly struck both of them with the bottle as well. The 23-year-old was arrested by the OPP in Elliot Lake yesterday, and now faces three counts of assault with a weapon, and three counts of breach of probation.
