Great news for ATVers in the area. Beginning July 1st, more types of ATVs, including side by side ATVs, utility terrain vehicles, and two-up ATVs will be allowed to use the shoulder of public roads. All riders will also be required to wear a helmet and use a seatbelt or foot rests. Violation tickets will not be issued until after September 1st so people have time to learn about the new rules.
