In addition to the 25% increase in registrations this year, the West Nipissing Relay for Life committee is proud to provide the preliminary fundraising figure of $35000.00 so far. Considering they still have some outstanding pledges, as well as the Relay’s portion of the Cache Bay Firefighters’ Bingo from Sunday and the Lavigne Relay for Life on June 20th, the relay committee is cautiously optimistic that they’ll approach or surpass $40000.00 from West Nipissing this year. Pledge forms for the Lavigne Relay can be picked up at the Lavigne Tavern.
