The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is advising the public of a potential exposure to COVID-19.
The Health Unit says the potential exposure involves The Boat restaurant and bar on Memorial Drive in North Bay between 11 pm on Friday, September 3rd and 1:30 am on Saturday, September 4th.
Anyone who was at The Boat during that time frame is being advised by the Health Unit to self-monitor for symptoms for at least ten days following the time of exposure.
That’s until after September 14, 2021.
“If you develop COVID-19 symptoms, self-isolate immediately and arrange to get tested at an assessment centre,” states a release. “It is also recommended that you avoid visiting very elderly or immune-compromised individuals until after September 14, 2021.”
