The NOJHL, which includes the French River Rapids, has announced its vaccination policy with everyone associated with team activities required to be double vaccinated.
That includes players, coaches, trainers, team and league staff, officials, volunteers and billet families.
A release says they must have both vaccinations before the start of team activities associated with the beginning of the 2021/22 season.
The NOJHL will also comply with the Ontario Human Rights Code and offer support to any league member who is unable to be vaccinated for substantiated medical reasons or grounds protected by the code.
The league says the policy is fully intended to protect the health and safety of all NOJHL players and members and to protect against the potential transmission of the virus.
