Area OPP say that a slew of cottage break-ins have been reported over the last couple of months. They are asking cottagers to take extra precautions to make sure they are protected from a break in. They suggest taking all liquor from your cottage, because that’s the number one item stolen. Also taking home any valuables, or locking them in a safe. Finally they suggest closing all curtains and blinds so thieves can’t see in.
