West Nipissing is being invited to “Pack the Pantry”.
McGuinty Funeral Home Limited is inviting the community to help those in need by participating in their first food drive at Metro, from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
All donations will go towards the West Nipissing Food Bank.
Steve Eide, McGuinty Funeral Home Owner, says “It’s a wonderful opportunity to spread support that will nourish the lives of locals in our area. The fact that there are food insecure people, including children, in our city is devastating. We are a business that focuses on respecting and honouring life. Having a food drive is how we can help the hungry and guarantee we’re doing our part to assist people in getting the vital food they need to survive.”
West Nipissing Food Bank is in need of the following items:
Adult personal hygiene items (shampoo, body wash, hand sanitizer, etc.)
Pasta sauce, Kraft Dinner, large cans of soup
Children’s school snacks (Gold Fish, granola bars, etc.)
McGuinty Funeral Home Limited has assisted bereaved families in North Bay and the surrounding area since 1919. In 2017, the new McGuinty Funeral Home began its operations in Sturgeon Falls.
