New travelling exhibit coming to the area in early December

FedNor is providing funding to support increased regional tourism spending in five Northern Ontario communities, including North Bay.

Science North received over $290,000 to develop a customized 100-square-foot version of its main Science of Guinness World Records exhibit in Sudbury.

The travelling exhibit is designed to attract more visitors to local tourism venues, encourage additional tourism spending and help foster economic recovery in centres across northern Ontario.

Northern tour stops include North Bay, Thunder Bay, Kenora, Timmins and Sault Ste. Marie.

The exhibit opened this week in Thunder Bay.

It’s scheduled to be at the North Bay Museum from December 3rd, 2021 to January 27th, 2022.

The new tourism product was created by Science North, in partnership with Ripley Entertainment Inc. and Guinness World Records.
