The Nipissing West OPP reports four people have been arrested after a report of an assault with a weapon in Sturgeon Falls.
It’s alleged two victims had a firearm pointed at them after three unknown people broke into a residence late Thursday night.
One of the victims escaped and ran to a neighbour for assistance and police were called.
The OPP says the suspects fled the scene.

Police located and stopped a vehicle on Highway 17 near Leblanc Road with the driver and three passengers taken into custody.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers.
The OPP says there are no public safety concerns.
