Three times more women are hurt in partner abuse than in car accidents. That’s why today the Horizon Women’s Centre in Sturgeon Falls is holding a special Community Awareness Walk Against Violence. It takes off from the Rec Complex in Sturgeon Falls at 6:30 and will make its way to Twiggs at Minnehaha Bay where light refreshments will be served.
