A horrendous attack has left a three-year-old Pomeranian in North Bay severely injured. Brachy was mauled on Tuesday by three large dogs.
Owner Dino Deschene says the attack came out of nowhere. He had just gotten back from a fishing trip on Twenty Minute Lake, and was walking Brachy on the dock when the three dogs showed up. Deschene says his beloved pet was screaming in pain, and that the dogs had him by each leg. He was eventually able to yank Brachy free. The OPP are now investigating.
Brachy was rushed to Airport Animal Hospital, where it was determined that his right leg was completely fractured. He also suffered several bite wounds.
The animal hospital is using the remainder of the Farley Fund to help Brachy’s owner cover the costs of his x-rays and anesthetic, but additional help is needed. A Go Fund Me account has now been set up for Brachy’s orthopedic surgery, which is going to cost an estimated $2,500. The link can be found here: http://www.gofundme.com/v5dqug8
