North Bay Police is hosting their annual public auction on Saturday.
It will feature valuables that police have seized throughout the year, such as tools, clothing and jewelry. Items that have been abandoned and dropped off at the police station will also be part of the auction.
Police Chief Paul Cook says the money goes to a great cause. Funds raised will all go into the Police Services Board, which in turn donates sums to community charities and organizations. A preview to the auction begins at 8 AM at police headquarters and the auction itself will start at 9 AM.
