As of April 23, 2021, COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be held at the Sturgeon Falls Arena (219 O’Hara Street).
The municipality is asking individuals to use the arena’s main parking lot and entrance on O’Hara Street. Mobility assistance will be available.
Andrea McLellan, Director of COVID-19 Immunization for the Health Unit, announced the move during last Thursday’s Health Unit press conference. McLellan says the plan was always to hold it in the arena, which will allow for the accommodation of more people.
West Nipissing’s April 23rd’s vaccine clinic is currently fully booked, but residents can schedule for April 30, as well as May 14 and 28.
