No new cases of COVID-19 were reported today (Monday) by the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit. Seven were added over the weekend. Considering resolved cases, there are 19 active in our region with 16 of them in the Nipissing District. One more preliminary result for a variant of concern was added today to join the eight that were reported over the weekend. 631 vaccine doses were administered by the Health Unit since Friday. 29 percent of the eligible population now has at least one dose with over 32-thousand total shots now administered.
