It looks like your property taxes will be going up two per cent.
The decision came after a four hour budget meeting yesterday where council discussed various options and went back and forth at length.
The increase was first slated as high as approximately 13 per cent but staff was able to bring down that number to under four per cent and eventually two per cent.
Before the budget is officially ratified, council will look at the water and sewer budget next week.
