An individual from the Silver Birches Elementary School community has tested positive for COVID-19.
The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit says the individual was at school during their infectious period.
The Health Unit has worked closely with the school and Near North District School Board to ensure all high-risk contacts were contacted and are aware they are required to self-isolate for a 14-day period. The current situation does not meet the criteria to declare an outbreak.

If you have severe symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, you should call 911 and mention your symptoms.
