Another summer festival is being planned for West Nipissing this July. It’s called Rock and Rib Fest, and will feature a rib tasting competition, and live music at the Minnehaha Bay waterfront and Amphitheater. The organizers have already gotten the green light from council to use the municipality’s Joie de Vivre logo for the event, and received positive feedback at last night’s meeting. They will be making a formal presentation to council within the next few weeks. The Rib Fest is set for July 18th.
