The NDP’s mines critic says the Liberals’ foot dragging is endangering the Ring of Fire. Mike Mantha says the consultant the Liberals hired to set-up a development corporation for the Ring of Fire is a smokescreen for their incompetence. Mantha says the government already announced the formation of the development corporation back in November. He says if the Liberals are hiring the consultant now, they’re admitting they had no plan for the Ring of Fire in the first place.
