Both the Sturgeon Falls and Verner Arenas are closed for the remainder of the season.
The Municipality says with the Stay-At-Home order extended until next Tuesday, council made the decision to shut down both local arenas.
The decision was made with a consideration of costs, as well as uncertainties surrounding restrictions that could be imposed once the district returns to a colour-coded response framework.
The municipality says that it will update residents on recreational services and facilities once given direction from both the province and the Health Unit.
