It’s McHappy Day! One dollar from every Happy Meal, Big Mac or Hot McCafe beverage sold at any McDonald’s in North Bay or Sturgeon Falls today will go towards the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto, and the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
The money that goes to the hospital with benefit the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit. Since April 2014, over 110 children have been cared for in the hospital’s new Child and Adolscent Mental Health Unit. Prior to this, children who needed specialized mental health services in the North Bay area had to travel over two hours to receive them.
