The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend.
There are three active cases of the virus in the region, one of which is in the Nipissing District.
From January 8 to 14, the region saw 12.3 cases per 100,000 people during a record spike for the Health Unit. The following week, the rate is down to 4.6, which is a drop of nearly 83 percent, according to Public Health Ontario figures.
The region has seen 186 total cases of the virus during the pandemic, resulting in one death. There are also no outbreaks in any schools or long term care homes.
