The COVID-19 pandemic continues to drive the number of available jobs down.
The Labour Market Group, a North Bay based workforce planning board, published there was a 5.1 percent decrease in job postings in November than in October in the Nipissing district. If you take the five year average that number nosedives by 20-percent.
Health Care and Social Assistance were the top hiring industries during the month, posting nearly 30% of all job offers.
