Fake e-mail fails to con West Nipissing man

A West Nipissing man didn’t fall for an e-mail scam telling him he’d won $1,500.  The e-mail looked like it was from the Cassie Populaire.  All the man had to do was click a link and the money would be deposited in his account.  Instead the man recognized the e-mail as a scam and reported the incident to the West Nipissing police.  Police say banks don’t send customers e-mails telling them money will be deposited in their accounts.
