The future of the Lavigne Ice Rink is up in the air. West Nipissing Mayor Joanne Savage says the current rink is not on municipality owned property, and the rink itself needs to be replaced because it’s in poor condition. City Council is now holding a public consultation for Lavigne residents to share their opinions on where a new rink should go. The public consultation is being held at the Lavigne Community Centre, on May 6th, at 7 PM.
