Region records 42nd COVID-19 case
The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting another positive case of COVID-19.
The 42nd case is in the Nipissing District. A case is a person between the ages of 20 and 39. The health unit says that it is the result of community spread and the individual is self-isolating.
There were no cases reported in the region on Thanksgiving Monday following the weekend. This is now the only active case in the Health Unit’s region, with last week’s case in the Parry Sound District listed as resolved.
As of Tuesday, the region has had 42 positive cases, with one death while administering 43,918 tests throughout the pandemic.
