Police crack illegal narcotics activity

North Bay police have helped their Barrie counterparts crack a narcotics operation that originated from a doctor’s office in Barrie.  Police say an employee at the office and two others bought narcotics using forged prescriptions and then sold the drugs in Barrie and North Bay.  It’s estimated the trio sold up to $300,000 in Fentanyl patches alone.  Police say the doctor and his other employees had no idea about the fraudulent activity.  A woman and two men, all from Barrie, now face more than 200 fraud and drug-related charges.
