The snow depth in the North Bay area is still 150 per cent more than normal for this time of year. That’s according to the North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority’s latest snow survey. The authority says cooler spring temperatures have made for a slow and steady spring melt, and that the flood risk is low. They are still encouraging people in low lying areas to be cautious around any water bodies around this time of year.
