Eggs, bottles thrown in road rage incident: OPP

West Nipissing OPP has issued an arrest warrant for a road rage incident that resulted in minor injuries to a group of cyclists.

On the morning of July 25, police received a traffic complaint of a white car that was speeding and driving aggressively on Highway 637 near Killarney.

A few hours later, officers received a call from a group of cyclists saying the same car had nearly hit them while on Highway 64. Police say that the group of cyclists confronted the man at a gas station in Noelville, where a verbal argument resulted in the driver kicking one of the bicycles before heading northbound on Highway 535.

Shortly after that, police received another call from the cyclists who said that the same driver threw eggs and a glass bottle at them. Two cyclists suffered cuts to their legs from shattered glass, while another fell from their bike because of a popped tire.

OPP have identified the suspect and have issued an arrest warrant. As of Wednesday afternoon, police are still waiting for the warrant to be sworn through.
