Nipissing West OPP are sharing statistics following their ‘Operation Safe Driver’ campaign.
The campaign, which was held from July 12 to 18, aimed at improving motor vehicle safety.
The OPP laid the following charges for motor vehicles and commercial motor vehicles while monitoring road safety:
Speeding: 41
Seatbelt: 1
Careless: 5
Unsafe Move: 1
Other Provincial Offences: 1
The OPP says that they need all drivers to make a commitment to road safety, as it will go a long way to reducing the number of collisions on our roads.
