A 36-year-old Blind River man is dead after his SUV collided with a tractor trailer just east of town Thursday morning on Highway 17. Dead is David Dennie. The driver of the rig received minor injuries. OPP have not yet said how the collision occurred. The crash took place around seven in the morning and closed the highway in both directions for most of the day. Highway 17 re-opened just after six Thursday night.
