The Municipality of West Nipissing is urging residents to celebrate Canada Day virtually this year.
Municipal officials say they have cancelled organized Canada Day events, including events at the Sturgeon River House Museum, and the firework display at the Sturgeon Falls beach.
For the celebrations, officials are asking residents to celebrate online with Canadians across the country with daytime and nighttime virtual concerts, along with a montage of firework displays through the years.
