A Friday mid-afternoon neighbour dispute has ended with charges for one resident, according to the Nipissing West OPP.
Police say they were called to the residence on Highway 539A in River Valley. An investigation into the issue showed that the accused had assaulted the victim.
As a result, police say a 62-year-old from West Nipissing has been charged with assault.
The accused has since been released. They will answer to their assault charge before court on September 3 in West Nipissing.
