Explosives incident shutsdown secondary highway

OPP had to shutdown a secondary highway when a truck carrying explosives to a gold mine near Cochrane ran off the road on Monday.  The closure of Highway 652 was a precautionary measure.  The driver skidded off the highway after losing control of his vehicle but landed upright in a snow bank.  Mining and explosive experts examined the load, found it was still secure and deemed the site safe.  Police re-opened the highway after the cargo was removed.
