Communities in Nipissing will share $4.3 million under the federal Gas Tax Fund. Since first being introduced nine years ago, Nipissing has received $33-million under the program. More recently the program was expanded to include more areas eligible for funding like airports, recreation and culture. Nipissing-Timiskaming MP Jay Aspin announced the windfall.
