West Nipissing has announced the schedule of waste and recycling pickup for the week of Canada Day.
Curbside pickup that is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30 will continue as planned. However, for those whose pickup is scheduled for Wednesdays, it will be pushed back to Thursday, July 2 as Canada Day falls on the Wednesday.
Municipal officials say the regular Thursday pickup is being affected as well, and residents can expect to see their curbside service come around on Friday instead.
All municipal landfills will be closed on Canada Day as well.
