Summer in the Park in jeopardy if not enough support for waterfront concerts

The North Bay council chambers could be packed April 27th.  That’s the night the Summer in the Park committee will announce the line up for this summer’s waterfront concerts and prices.  However chairman John Strang says this is a critical year for the music event.  That’s because the committee owes the City $45,000 after the concerts lost money last year.  Strang says it’s important that business and the community back the event otherwise it’s future is in jeopardy.  Strang adds once wristbands go on sale, there’s an early bird special for the first 30 days and he’s confident they’ll go fast.
