Every year, the municipality of West Nipissing provides halls and venues free of charge for charitable organizations to host events. However, now town council is discussing the possibility of introducing a rental policy for these situations to make sure the process is fair. Mayor Joanne Savage says what’s needed is a policy with firm guidelines. Council also want to have a system in place so that they can showcase the community with what it provides to organizations with throughout the year.
