- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin)
- Dangerous Operation
- Driving Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available
Officers add a 28-year-old, also from Barrie was charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin). Both have been released with a court date in Sudbury on July 22.
Police say the driver was given a 90-day suspension on their licence and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. This is the 24th impaired charge by the Nipissing West OPP in 2020.
